The round shape of the Earth is primarily due to its own gravity. The force of gravity pulls matter inward towards the center, making it settle into a spherical shape. This phenomenon is known as hydrostatic equilibrium. The other planets may appear flat when observed from a distance, but they are also spherical in shape due to the same gravitational forces.
